Spacer Mesh (often called Sandwich Mesh) is a specialized 3D textile comprising three distinct layers knitted together in a single process:

  • 1 Face Layer: Determines the visual texture (mesh design) and hand feel.
  • 2 Bottom Layer: Provides stability and tensile strength, typically a flat knit.
  • 3 X-90° Connecting Layer: Millions of monofilaments acting as micro-springs for cushioning and airflow.

Our standard Spacer Mesh ranges from 1.5mm to 8mm. For thicker requirements (up to 20mm), please refer to our 3D Mesh category. We can customize the thickness precisely to meet your application needs.
What are the Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ)?
For stock grey fabrics, the MOQ is 200kg per color. For custom specifications or colors, the MOQ is typically 3000kg due to machine adjustment requirements. Small trial orders can be negotiated with a surcharge.
Can you provide flame retardant or antibacterial finishes?
Yes. We offer functional finishes including FMVSS302/EN1021 flame retardancy for automotive/furniture, and Silvadur™ or Sanitized™ antibacterial treatments for medical and bedding applications.
How long does it take to develop a custom pattern?
New pattern development typically takes 10-15 days. This includes sample analysis, machine adjustment, and physical property verification.
