At the CBME China exhibition, they connected with us, seeking a solution with significantly better breathability than memory foam, latex, and pearl cotton, while maintaining stable rebound for newborn head support.

Step 1

Clear Performance Target


The client clearly defined two priorities: superior breathability and long-term stable support. Traditional materials like memory foam and latex were widely used but often caused heat buildup. We aligned with the client to focus on a structure that could continuously ventilate while still supporting delicate newborn head development.


Step 2

Full Mesh Construction


We proposed one fully spacer mesh-based solution. The surface layer used our custom-developed Mes-tio Shield™ antibacterial mesh, offering a soft, skin-friendly touch with reliable antibacterial performance. Unlike conventional pillow fabrics, we designed the entire structure to allow air to pass through freely.


Step 3

Zoned Support Engineering


We used BD2-6N6 through-hole mesh as the inner filling to create continuous airflow from surface to core. For the head support area, we combined 5mm and 9mm mesh layers through manual assembly and sewing, forming a rounded head zone that balanced support, comfort, and rebound stability.


Step 4

Integrated Production


After development, we completed mass production through Mefiss Hometex, ensuring consistency from material to finished pillow. By controlling both fabric and sewing processes, we maintained stable structure, high quality, and reliable bulk production performance.

The product achieved stable mass production and continuous supply, becoming one of Hagaday’s key baby care items, with strong performance in both comfort and breathability compared to conventional pillow materials.
